2025 has been a busy and a tough year for us at Feel Better Farm. This year we’ve worked with Animal Control officers in Isle of Wight, Cumberland, Spotsylvania, Albemarle, Greene and Fluvanna counties, to take in animals who need us. We’ve continued to care for our existing herd, including several special needs animals, and we’ve taken in some medically complicated friends, as well. Along the way we’ve suffered some difficult losses, too, and those are a significant weight to bear.
We’ve worked hard to continue to help animals in the Central Virginia and surrounding area, and as a small rescue, continuing that mission takes every penny, hour and resource we can get.
We are so fortunate to have a supportive local community, and kind and generous nationwide, actually world-wide, following.
So, on this Giving Tuesday, and as you consider your end of year giving, I ask that if you have a few dollars to spare, please consider sending it our way.
Our essential needs remain constant: feed, hay, veterinary care.
We cannot continue to do this without your help, and while we can’t help every animal in need, we make the world of difference to the ones we can.
